In 2006, Jobs acquired Pixar, an animation studio that had produced hit films such as Toy Story and Finding Nemo. Jobs became CEO of Pixar, and he helped to guide the studio to even greater success. In 2006, Pixar released Cars, which was the highest-grossing animated film of all time.
